Dominica Citizenship By Investment
The Commonwealth of Dominica has been offering its citizenship by investment programme since 1993, making it one of the oldest citizenship programmes around. The island is located 1400 miles south of the coast of Miami and is famous for hosting over 365 rivers flowing through its unique rainforests and mountainous terrain.
Investors may qualify for citizenship through a donation to the government fund or investment in real estate. The CBIU is the government authority overlooking the day to day operations of the citizenship programme and is regulated under the guidelines of the Commonwealth of Dominica Citizenship by Investment Act.
The economy of Dominica is largely agriculturally based. The island specialises in the production of tropical fruits, seafood and other various manufactured products. Dominica also produces a wide range of soaps and natural oils. Tourism is also becoming a major contributor to the Commonwealth of Dominica’s GDP. The official currency on the island is the Eastern Caribbean dollar, which is pegged to the US dollar.
An applicant must invest in one of the two options below in order to apply for citizenship:
AIM Capital Partners will require clients to scan all documents to their client relationship manager in order to ensure the documents have been prepared in the correct manner. Guidance will be provided to the applicant throughout the process.
Thereafter, the team will prepare your application and submit it to the citizenship unit.
The citizenship unit will meet to assess the due diligence results and citizenship application.
Thereafter, the citizenship unit will inform AIM Capital Partners whether the application has been approved or disapproved. If the application is successful, the application will be approved in principal.
